Abstract
The overall objective of the project is to analyze the ecosystem of services for people with psychosocial disabilities in the Girona region, focusing on the specific nature of the closure of long-stay mental health services and the subsequent development of a diverse array of services in the areas of prevention, early care, employment, decision-making support, and the promotion and defense of rights.
As recognized by the European Commission, it is necessary to strengthen research to identify practices that, from the perspective of prevention and early intervention, include an analysis of current treatment options and an analysis of intersectoral or hybrid practices, assess their effectiveness and efficiency according to economic parameters, but also their impact on quality of life.
